2008 is the Year of the Rat. Which animal year were you born in?

Both me and my fiance are born in the year of the rat, so this should be our year. Unfortunately, I can't really remember if fortune was on my side or not the last time the year of the rat rolled around, so I don't have any kind of precedent to go by.

I am also a Rat. I really hope this year is better, but so far 2008 has been kicking my ass. Let's hope some good fortune comes our way soon!

2008 is bringing a mixed bag for me. One one side of the coin, things are a lot more stable and livable than in some years past, but to counter that, there's been a lot of stress lately in my house. I don't know what to expect just yet, but as long as nothing catastrophic happens (like McCain winning the presidency and sending us into all-out nuclear war), I think it'll be just fine. Knock on wood.

Here's to hoping, for all us rat year babies' sakes!
